For a student wishing to pursue a career in STEM in Bangladesh,the most common academic subjects are physics, chemistry,mathematics and biology.The availability of tutors outside of these subjects are extremely limited and as a result to this,I committed myself to physics,chemistry and mathematics in my O and A levels.I have always been a quick learner of these subjects,which is reflected in my grades so far.Despite being a candidate of O levels in the covid year,I managed to score way above the required marks to confirm A* in all my subjects.I achieved top grades simultaneously in science and business subjects.Soon after I finished first year of my A levels and had 300/300 in my AS physics as well I realized that I should take a difficult subject like computer science or IT in my university and move abroad for my higher studies since I believe I could manage doing that with very good understanding in the academics.Although I was among the top scorers in physics and chemistry in my IAS,I managed to get an overall 233/300 in Mathematics since I self-studied this subject.I know that 1B in my A levels will not work as a barrier to stop me to excel in my academic and extracurricular career.During these years of my high school I got serious about the real world phenomenon.I got interested to learn things that mattered immediately.I dedicated myself to self learn programming and by the end of few months of sheer hard work of learning html,css,java,bootstrap and completed numerous courses on web development from 10 minute School,Udemy even Youtube I was able to create my first website.Although my website is not live yet,I plan to do it by the mid of 2024.The best thing about programming to me is that I see this as an opportunity to contribute to my country.The whole world has digitized long time ago.But in Bangladesh,we still use analog way of working to do most documentation and data collection work.Only one or two industries have been completely made online.Mobile-banking transactions,online food deliveries have been going on here smoothly for a long time but the major official works still take huge amount of time due to lack of digitization.In fact,the supply of talented local programmers is so low that whenever a government website faces problems,citizens need to wait at least 2-3 days since developers are needed to be bought from India to do the large scale works.I aim to change this in my country in future.There is a limitation for students in Bangladesh to participate in activities during their university life that helps them in their future.The number of programs outside of bookish education is extremely limited and overall there is a lethargicness the among the average youth of Bangladesh that decreases the chances,as a nation,to produce high quality professionals.And in order to achieve necessary skills to become one of the best programmers in the world,I decided to apply to hungarian universities.Without any support,I may not be able to go to any European country from a third world country to acquire the required skills to achieve my goals.Hence,I see the Hungarian Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship as a golden opportunity to make my dreams of higher studies come true.University of Debrecen is one of the top public universities in Hungary. It is ranked 671-680 in QS World University Rankings 2024.To be able to learn in such a country and university will shape me for the challenges I will face in my future.It is an honor to study there for everyone.Thank you for considering my application.
